Swazey Woods follows a team of rugged explorers who stumble into something far bigger—and far stranger—than they ever imagined. What began as an amateur cryptid-hunting adventure turned into a spiraling descent through folklore, horror, and mind-bending mystery. Shot on-location in rural New Hampshire, the show blurs the line between documentary and horror, blending backwoods mythology, dry comedy, and eerie suspense into a genre all its own.

At the center of it all: Justin, a quiet man with a mysterious past and a missing son. Declan, a volatile draft-dodger with a lobotomy scar and a violent streak. And Kellan, their young intern, who vanished in the very first episode—taken by a creature known only as The Witness. From that moment on, Swazey Woods was never the same.

As the series unfolds, the crew finds themselves hunted by forces far more dangerous than cryptids—evil magicians, undead creatures, and ancient memories that refuse to die. Along the way, they’re joined by Elvis Lawtonio, a Puerto Rican paranormal guide-turned-slasher villain turned accidental best friend.
